Reservation - A Riverfront Experience

Reservation – A Riverfront Experience

Located at 1 West Crawford Street in Montezuma, Reservation is a riverfront restaurant where history, community, and great food come together.

Housed in a landmark building dating back to the 1850s, Reservation sits along the former Wabash & Erie Canal. Canal boats once floated directly into the structure to load and unload goods, making the building an essential part of Montezuma’s working waterfront. Over the years, these walls have served many purposes, from warehouse and machine shop to ice house and service station, each chapter adding to the character that still defines the space today.

Today, Reservation honors that legacy while offering a fresh, welcoming dining experience built for modern guests. Open daily at 6am, the restaurant serves hearty breakfasts made from scratch, including fresh buttermilk biscuits and house made sausage gravy. Lunch and dinner feature elevated comfort food and classic favorites, from steak frites and meatloaf with bordelaise to seafood dishes like shrimp cocktail and shareable captain’s feasts tossed in rich garlic butter.

Whether you are starting your morning early, gathering for a relaxed lunch, or settling in for dinner by the river, Reservation offers a place to slow down, enjoy good food, and be part of a story that continues to unfold.

Rooted in tradition. Built for today. Welcome to Reservation.
