Spend the night, behind bars.

The Old Jail Inn on the downtown square in Rockville, Indiana is probably the only place where you can stay overnight in a jail cell because you want to, not because you have to.

This inn with nine cells once served as Parke Counties third jail from 1879 to 1998 when the prisoners left.  The jail closed, but its spirit now lives on as an inn.

Suites are 99.00 a night plus tax and Cells are 79.00 a night plus tax. Rates during the Covered Bridge Festival in October Suites 139.00 a night plus tax and the Cells are 99.00 a night plus tax.
