Comments From Our Guest Book

This is the most relaxing type festival I have ever attended. Bridgeton is my favorite, I love this quaint little town, the food is great with good selection, this is where I start my Christmas Shopping. Thank You

Martha Arnold

I attended Bridgeton school for 7 years and I have visited Bridgeton several times. it is Bridgeton that impacted my life more than any other location I have ever lived or visited!! It is my favorite place in the world to visit. I have taken friends to the bridge for picnics and to wade in the water. There is no better place on earth than Bridgeton, Indiana.

Jewell Langley

My wife and I have been coming to the Covered Bridge Festival since our children were babies, now we bring our granddaughter. Bridgeton has always been our favorite town. Thanks to All at Bridgeton!!!

Kenneth Brooks

Well, my wife and I had another great year at the fest. Bridgeton gives the best down home charm out of all the towns. Don't ever lose that. I need to rest now since I serve as the family mule every trip (Running all the goodies back to the car). Once again we had a very memorable time and looking forward to next year. Thanks again.

Dave and Lee Tomaska

We were privileged to visit your lovely city during the Covered Bridge Festival, along with Mansfield and Rockville. There was no comparison. Give us Bridgeton any time. Your area is lovely and full of charm. The little homes along, what appeared to be your main street, were beautiful. Congratulations.

Mary A. Fox

Every year for the past six years myself and several friends have visited the Covered Bridge Festival in Bridgeton. We just returned this year and I am counting the days until next year's festival. We loved it tremendously. I am eternally grateful to my parents for introducing me to this event. Keep up the good work.

Janelle Gelly

Bridgeton is by far the best of the towns included in the covered bridge festival. We have attended the festival every year for the past 5 years and find no other shops in Mansfield or Rockville like yours. Thank you for such an enjoyable experience.

Barb Myers

Bridgeton is the most fun around...nice people...good food...lovely handmade Indiana folk art...we will be back!

Thomas & Amanda Breiter

My husband and I just visited your town. We enjoyed the friendliness we encountered there. It is truly the best area in prices during the festival. Your bridge is beautiful with its waterfall. Thank you.

Nancy Ferran

We went to Bridgeton last year and that was the first time in 20 years that we had gone there. We usually went to Rockville or Mansfield. Bridgeton was the BEST!!

Gerry Lane

I have been to your town for the Covered Bridge Festival for over 10 years now. Out of all the towns and attractions to visit, I would have to say that Bridgeton has the most charm and the friendliest people.

Mary Jo Whallen

Bridgeton is our favorite spot of all the covered bridge areas. We always shop there first and shop the longest.

Carolyn Maberry

I just want to let you know how much I enjoyed coming to your Covered Bridge Festival. What a beautiful day. I played basketball at the Bridgeton school in 1961 and I had no idea the building was still in existence. I enjoyed so very much the opportunity to walk in that old gymnasium once again. We sure look forward to attending again next year. Keep up the good work.

Jerry Hester

My wife and I just love coming to Bridgeton during the Festival. Everything is so nice and such quality crafted items. Your organizers are to be commended!!!

Dennis Holman

I visited your community last year during the Covered Bridge Festival. I loved it. In the past, we went to Rockville and Mansfield, but we now like Bridgeton the best and will be there this year.

Carol Galloway

I taught high school in this delightful town of friendly people in 1960. I fondly remember the people and the old mill and covered bridge. Want to get back there one of these days.

Thomas Clark

Hello! I've been going to the festival for many years, and I always stop at Bridgeton. It's the only town I stop at to eat and shop. Your town has the best food and vendors as far as I'm concerned!!

James Piety

I can't start the Covered Bridge experience each year without stopping at Bridgeton. The beginning of my shopping day starts with one of the wonderful cinnamon rolls and coffee. Life doesn't get much better than that. Bridgeton is my favorite place to go for the Covered Bridge Festival.

Anna Collier

My husband and I enjoyed our visit to Bridgeton on October 13 and especially enjoyed our tour of the Bridgeton Mill. Mike Roe has undertaken quite a task in restoring and operating the mill. We purchased some of his products and are very pleased with the fine quality. The parking was close by, reasonable and the vendors plentiful.

Donna Nance

I just wanted to let you know that I very much enjoy coming to Bridgeton during the Covered Bridge Festival, it brings back many wonderful memories. I attended Junior High there from 1978-1980. I especially like to show my kids the lunch room that we ate in, they really get a kick outta that! Thanks for creating such a WONDERFUL web site.

Kimberly Nesbitt (Lunsford)

Bridgeton is my favorite Parke County spot. Every year my friends and I take the road trip to Parke County and we now make Bridgeton our first stop. The atmosphere is the best.

Mary Mullen

On a beautiful day this past August I was passing through Rockville on my way home from Chicago and decided to see more bridges. I followed the red route, stopping in Bridgeton. The bridge and town were fascinating. However, what I enjoyed the most was an impromptu tour of the grist mill by the mill owner. It was an afternoon well spent.

T. Tweddell

My husband and I have been coming to the Covered Bridge Festival for 29 of the 30 years we have been married. In fact, our wedding anniversary is October 18, so we consider this part of our anniversary celebration. We really love how Bridgeton has expanded. Continue on with the good work!

Barbara Franklin

Bridgeton is by far the best town of the whole festival. We spent two days in Bridgeton last year and wished we had another day! The friendliest vendors/shop owners are in Bridgeton. Keep up the good work.

Lori Baxa

We have been attending the Covered Bridge Festival for over 20 years. Bridgeton is our favorite location to visit while we are there. The covered bridge, mill, crafts, food and the small town ambiance make this all combine to make a most enjoyable day.

Judy Stine

We have been to Bridgeton about 4 years in a row now. I love this place. It is so open and offers so much variety in both foods and shops. It is a very clean place and lovely town.

Rachel Harold

Bridgeton is the ultimate!

Carla & Hilary

Every year we come down to the Festival, Bridgeton is always a must stop. You by far have the best quality crafts of all the stops in the Festival. I very much enjoy the small town atmosphere any time of the year we get down to Parke County.

Karen Dubrick

My family has been coming to your festival for 31 years now and really enjoy it. We believe that Bridgeton has the best looking bridge and scenery of all Parke County. All the food is great, and the shops. Keep up the good work.

Mike & Nancy Frankich

I really enjoy Bridgeton more than Rockville. This will be my 5th year for covered bridge. Bridgeton is more like a home town than just a tourist site.

Suzie Woolley

I love the Covered Bridge Festival. Bridgeton is the cutest town we go to. We've been going for 10 years - keep up the good work.

Jenny Klein

I look forward to my once a year trip to Bridgeton. My husband and I go with my sister and her husband and we always have an enjoyable time. We love all the crafts. We never come home empty handed. The town, people and crafts are fantastic.

Mary Haro

Beautiful bridge! I visited your town yesterday. Nice shops and nice people. I am looking forward to visiting again.
