Pees, Buckskin, Long Rifles….And more in Historic Bridgeton. Located
around Parke counties oldest home…The 1822 Case Log Cabin. See the mill in
operation (est. 1823) and stroll through the camps. A great experience for

| June 4 Art & Wine Fair/Pancake Breakfast Bridgeton Mill grinds wheat and mixes
whole grain flours to make the best tasting pancake you ever had.
Volunteers flip the pancakes for Indiana’s Most Famous Covered Bridge.
Come and watch the massive stones do their work, feel the vibration in the
floor, eat some wonderful pancakes and help save and restore Indiana’s
Most Famous Covered Bridge.THEN………………..Visit the 1878 House (The Miller’s Home) and see some great fine art while sampling some wine. Art 10:00a.m.-5:00p.m. Wine 12:00 noon-5:00p.m. |

Sept 10 & 11Milling Days Historic
Bridgeton Mill est. 1823-Rebuildt 1870 is patterned after the designs of
Oliver Evans. He was the father of the American Industrial Revolution, he
designed and built the first automated factory-a flour mill. Milling Days
is near his birthday. Come and watch as the mill operates and learn how
one of the first automated factories in America worked. |

| Nov. 25-27 and Dec. 2-4 Bridgeton’s Covered Bridge Christmas Bridgeton’s
second largest event. See Indiana’s Most Famous Covered Bridge in Lights.
Get fresh stone ground products, Indiana products, Amish products and more
in the mill. Special Arts and Craft booths set up in “South Pole” barn and
“North Pole” barn. See Santa in the old log cabin sitting by the fire.
East a wonderful meal at the Old County Store and have a great time
shopping in the Historic District of Bridgeton. |
